UPDATE: No injuries in Westlock explosion

An explosion rocked Westlock on Thursday night

An explosion in a detached garage in Westlock on Thursday night spread to the home, however nobody was injured in the incident. 

At around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, the RCMP received a call of an explosion and fire at a home on the 9800 block of 105th Street in Westlock. 

When the RCMP arrived the homeowner had attempted to put out the fire, but it got out of control, said Cpl. Gina Slaney of the RCMP's K Division. 

No injuries were reported during the event.
