Heavy snow is expected Sunday evening and overnight, with a total of 10 to 20 cm expected to fall in the city overnight.

Environment and Climate Change Canada issued a snowfall warning Sunday morning, as snow had begun to fall in the community

"The heaviest snow will fall tonight. Some areas west of Edmonton may see locally higher snowfall totals of up to 25 cm. Snow will taper off through the day on Monday," the warning said.

Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions.
