In spite of the slightly smoky conditions on Mother’s Day, the Westlock Rotary Club proceeded with its annual “fun run” along the Westlock Rotary Trail the morning of May 12.
The 130-plus participants could choose to run/walk a shorter route stretching three kilometres in length or a full five to 10 kilometres. Afterwards, a breakfast was served in the parking lot of the Westlock Curling Club.
Proceeds from the event went towards maintaining the Rotary Trail.
