WESTLOCK – David Truckey’s retirement from municipal politics will have to wait.

Second place went to Nichole Stadnyk, with 210 votes, followed by former town councillor Robin Brett, who finished at 201, while David Keyes ended up with 112.

Meanwhile in Ward 3, which includes Clyde, Busby and Pickardville, Maureen Schnirer easily topped Philip Petkau, netting 703 ballots to his 228 total.

Truckey and Schnirer will be sworn in at the Pembina Hills School Division organizational meeting Oct. 27.
