ATHABASCA – A Tuesday evening water main break has been repaired nine hours earlier than expected.

The Town of Athabasca announced that East Hill residents on 42nd Street had their water services restored around noon May 15.

Residents are asked to flush cold-water faucets to clear out any discoloration, but otherwise are good to go.

Traffic on 42nd Street will resume as normal.
