Another challenger entered the race for city council last week when Frances Badrock tipped her hat for a third straight run.
Badrock ran in 2007 and 2004, but didn't fare well. She finished last in 2007 with 2,678 votes, and placed 16th in a field of 21 candidates in 2004.
The former chair of Seniors United Now has also made attempts at provincial seats. In 2007 she ran against Ken Allred and then-mayor Paul Chalifoux for the Progressive Conservative nomination. Allred of course won on his way to becoming MLA for St. Albert.
