It will be another month before the case of the woman charged in the hit and run death of a boy last month will be back in court.

Crystal Andres, 36, did not appear in Athabasca Provincial Court on Apr. 27, but instead had a lawyer appear for her. She has been charged with dangerous driving causing death and failure to remain at scene of accident in connection with an incident on Mar. 17 where 12-year-old Lee Thunder died.

It is alleged Andres was behind the wheel of a vehicle that hit the boy as he walked eastbound along Highway 55 on the east hill, sending him into the ditch. He passed away at hospital of his injuries.

Andres' lawyer reserved election and plea and the case was put over until May 25.
