A fatal car crash on Highway 63 one kilometre north of Wandering River left two people dead and two others in critical condition on Sunday. Their identities have not been released.
The cars collided at approximately 8:46 am. A 52-year-old female died on scene and her eight-year-old passenger was transported to an Edmonton-area hospital in critical condition. A 26-year-old male driver was also airlifted to Edmonton with life-threatening injuries. His 28-year-old male passenger was deceased on scene. Boyle RCMP’s preliminary investigation indicates that driver error was a factor in the crash.
