The sudden death of a man found in a field near Athabasca is the subject of an investigation by RCMP.
The date and circumstances surrounding the death of an elderly man that civilians found in a field recently, near a truck that police believe the man abandoned, have not been clarified by the RCMP.
A short statement released late Friday (Jan. 23) afternoon from RCMP stated they are investigating and that anyone who may have information regarding the incident are asked to call the detachment at (780) 675-5122. They added they will not be making any further comments on the situation at this time.
