Pick-up locations established for Advocate subscribers

With the shutdown of Canada Post as a result of labour issues with the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW), alternate pick-up locations have been established for Athabasca Advocate subscribers, effective June 21.

With the shutdown of Canada Post as a result of labour issues with the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW), alternate pick-up locations have been established for Athabasca Advocate subscribers, effective June 21.

Subscribers simply need to attend the pick-up location for their community, and identify themselves as Advocate subscribers to receive a paper.

Pick-up locations are as follows. The June 21 issue of the Athabasca Advocate will not be mailed to subscribers within these communities:

Athabasca (all T9S postal codes except 1S1 and 1S2) — Athabasca Advocate

Summer Villages surrounding Baptiste Lake (South Baptiste, West Baptiste, Sunset Beach, Whispering Hills, White Gull) — Athabasca Advocate

Boyle — Boyle Flower Shop

Summer Villages surrounding Skeleton Lake (Bondiss, Mewatha Beach) — Boyle Flower Shop

Calling Lake — Moosehorn Market

Advocate subscribers in all communities not listed above will have their papers mailed once postal service resumes.
