Police ask for help to locate break-and-enter suspects

Athabasca business hit April 5

ATHABASCA - Athabasca RCMP are asking for help from the public to track down four suspects following a break-in at a 50th Avenue business in early April.

In an April 29 press release, Athabasca RCMP Const. Kyle Hotchkiss said that in the early-morning hours of April 5, several individuals forcefully gained access to the business, located at the 5000 block of 50th Avenue.

After exiting, the individuals later stole a truck which had been parked on the property and fled the scene. The vehicle was later located by the Westlock RCMP.

The police believe that at least four individuals were involved and were able to provide descriptions for four suspects.

The first suspect is a man with a light skin complexion, between 20-30 years old, wearing a light-coloured hoodie, dark pants and work boots. The second suspect was a woman, wearing a jacket with a fur hood, light pants, and large winter boots. The third suspect was a man, approximately 30-35 years of age, with dark hair. He had facial hair, and was wearing a long welding style jacket, and large boots. The final suspect is a man, aged 25-35, wearing a toque, light coloured jacket, pants with a stripe down the side, and light-coloured shoes.
