After requesting the public’s help in finding Kelly Astasiewicz, the Athabasca RCMP reported that they had found her safe and unharmed on Wednesday night.
The Island Lake resident had last been seen on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at a residence in the Lakeshore Drive area of Island Lake.
RCMP has offered their thanks to the public for their assistance.
