Boyle RCMP are seeking the public's assistance their search for Mandi Leigh Boucher, who was last seen October 28, 2017 at the Buffalo Lake Métis Settlement.

According to a June 20 press release, RCMP believe the 25-year-old woman may be in the company of 23-year-old Lloyd Wesley Boudreau, who is currently wanted on a Canada-wide warrant on first-degree murder charges in the shooting death of 26-year-old Michael Mountain in Lac La Biche. The murder allegedly took place the same day Boucher went missing. The suspect is also charged with evading police and disposing of physical evidence of a crime.

"We want to make sure this case remains in the public eye," RCMP Media Relations Cpl. Chris Warren said. "This case is still ongoing, and we would like the public's assistance in finally getting it closed."

Since the investigation began, police have followed up on tips that Boucher and Boudreau may have been seen in the areas of Lac La Biche, St. Paul, Boyle, Camrose, Edmonton, and Kamloops, B.C.

On March 18, Boudreau's mother, 53-year-old Margaret Simon, was taken into custody on a charge of accessory to murder. Police allege she may have assisted Boudreau with evading police and disposing of physical evidence of the crime. Simon is to make her next provincial court appearance July 16 in Lac La Biche for election and plea.

In the press release, police describe Boucher as 5'1", 150 lbs with brown hair and green eyes. Boudreau is described as 5'6", Métis, 188 lbs with black hair and brown eyes. Police added that Boudreau also has tatoos on the neck and the right side of his face.

Officers advise the public to not approach Boudreau, as police think he may be armed and dangerous.

Anyone who has information as to the whereabouts of either Boucher or Boudreau is asked to call Boyle RCMP at 780-689-3622, Lac La Biche RCMP at 780-623-4380, or your local police detachment. Should the caller wish to remain anonymous, they can also contact Crime Stoppers by phone at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), via the Internet at www.tipsubmit.com, or by SMS (check your local Crime Stoppers website for instructions on how).
