Two new faces will attempt to earn seats on Boyle Village council in the Oct. 18 municipal election.

The two new candidates, David Peter Bencharsky and Roger Hall, make it seven hopefuls running for the five open councillor spots.

Current councilors Mike Antal, Sam Assaf , Bob Clark, Jim Giancola and Don Radmanovich are all seeking re-eletion.

This is Bencharsky’s first campaign for village council, while Hall will try to return to council after being defeated as an incumbent in the 2007 election.

Once the five councillors are elected, council will determine the positions of mayor and deputy mayor internally.
