Athabasca RCMP have arrested a male suspect after receiving a call about a suspicious male walking around downtown mid-day June 26. “He was walking around with what looked to be, possibly, a pellet gun, ” said Constable Mark Tyler.
Athabasca RCMP have arrested a male suspect after receiving a call about a suspicious male walking around downtown mid-day June 26.
“He was walking around with what looked to be, possibly, a pellet gun, ” said Constable Mark Tyler.
RCMP responded, and the male was arrested outside of the post office on 49th Street.
RCMP later confirmed the youth did in fact possess a pellet gun; it was seized.
The youth has been released on a promise to appear for a date in August.
