ATHABASCA — Town of Athabasca residents may experience water interruptions over the next two days while crews complete water line maintenance.

Athabascans residing in the area of 53 Street and 47 Ave will have their water service disrupted between April 10 and 12 for line repairs in the area.

According to a Town of Athabasca notice, service is expected to be restored by 9 a.m. April 12, but the estimated time of restoration is subject to change.

Residents are asked to plan different routes and drive with care in the area, as crews and equipment will be present and working.

Town administration recommends residents flush cold water taps to clear any discolouration after water service resumes.

More to come ...
