BOYLE — Boyle School will remain closed until further notice as wildfire conditions continue to threaten the region, prompting evacuation orders for the Village of Boyle and surrounding areas.

All Aspen View Public Schools buses serving Boyle School have also been suspended. School officials say they are hopeful the evacuation order will be lifted soon, allowing normal operations to resume. In the meantime, staff are focused on ensuring the safety and wellbeing of students, families, and school personnel.

“Right now, the priority is to allow the Boyle School community, including families and staff, to focus on their own safety and wellbeing,” said a communications officer for Aspen View Public Schools. “Should the evacuation order remain in place for a longer period of time, we are exploring options to facilitate education. But for now… stakeholder safety and wellbeing is the priority.”

Principal Jason Mestinsek will communicate directly with families if the evacuation period is extended and alternate learning arrangements are required.

Aspen View Public Schools will continue to monitor the wildfire situation closely and provide updates as they become available.

For the latest emergency information, residents are advised to follow municipal alerts and official Aspen View Public Schools communication channels.
