Athabasca saw their first annual Zombie and Superhero Walk Halloween evening, held by the Athabasca Hometown Printing Company. The entry fee was $2 for each participant. The money went towards Canadian Blood Services’ OneMatch Stem Cell and Bone Marrow Network. Participants, both with costume and without, walked from the Printing Company down to the riverfront and back. This was only one of the many Halloween events that took place that night. From the classic trick or treating to haunted houses, Athabasca was wonderfully haunted for one night.
