The Barrhead Orioles got off to a tough start, losing their first North Central Alberta Baseball League (NCABL) game of the season May 7 at home, 15 to 5. The Orioles looked like they were on the verge of a potential rally, scoring four runs in the fifth inning. Unfortunately for them, the game was called early due to exceeding the time limit.
