Kellie Horvath and the 49th Street Grill will be having a draw for two tickets to Sawyer Brown’s show at the Athabasca Regional Multiplex on Nov. 10, and the proceeds will go to local charity Road to Hope.
Horvath’s family has been touched by cancer more than once, and when her mother-in-law was diagnosed with the disease, she wasted no time in contacting Road To Hope (which provides transportation to and from the city for treatments) and transportation coordinator Madena Reimer.
“Madena would sit with her all the time, and when she couldn’t be there she would call. Madena and Road To Hope became part of our extended family and I think every community should have a charity like Road To Hope.”
Unfortunately, Horvath’s mother-in-law passed away in June of this year.
To say thank you to Road To Hope for their efforts in helping her mother-in-law fight the disease, and in recognition of their continuing work in the community, Horvath and 49th Street Grill have purchased a gold ticket table for the concert and they will give two of the tickets to the lucky winner of the draw.
Each entry in the draw is $5 and can be purchased by going to 49th Street Grill or by contacting Road To Hope at 780-327-9442.
The winning ticket will be picked on Nov. 5 at the restaurant.
Sawyer Brown will bring their popular and enduring brand of country music to town for the anticipated show.
