The Boyle Youth Centre is in danger of closing unless some volunteers come forward.
The centreís Gina Graham stated their president is stepping down, and they have been without a secretary since last June.
The centre is having their annual general meeting Tuesday night, and they are looking for people to help out.
ìThis is probably our most successful year,î Graham said. ìThe kids are there, we just need some help running it.î
The centre is located right next to the school, and is helping keep kids off the streets.
ìPer month, we get about 135 kids,î Graham explained.
ìItís doing really well, but weíre just lacking in the volunteer support end of it.î
The centre has many activities and planned programs for the youth.
ìWeíve got ping pong, pool, we have a brand new TV, Wii, board games, and a monthly program,î she said.
ìRight now itís probably at its peak. Itís probably the best youth centre ever, and we just need some volunteers to come out and help us out with the executive and be members at large and get active with the centre.î
