HEALTHY TURKEY MEATBALLS
These meatballs are flavourful and moist! The perfect finishing touch to any spaghetti or pasta dish. You can also cook in a pan on the stove with 1 tablespoon oil over medium-high heat for 6-7 minutes, or until cooked through.
INGREDIENTS
1 pound lean ground turkey
1 large egg (beaten)
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
3-4 Tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with non-stick spray.
2. Combine the turkey, egg, breadcrumbs, cheese, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper and parsley in a bowl. Stir just until combined, do not over mix.
3. Use a small cookie scoop or tablespoon to scoop the meat out. Then form into balls and place on the pan.
4. Bake for 17-20 minutes. Turn halfway through if you don’t want the bottoms to brown.
