HAMILTON — It wasn't perfect but for Nathan Rourke and the B.C. Lions, it was good enough. Rourke threw for 408 yards and two TDs as B.C. earned a 41-38 overtime win over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Thursday night.

MONTREAL — The Montreal Alouettes acquired McLeod Bethel-Thompson from the Edmonton Elks in exchange for Cody Fajardo as an insurance policy in case Davis Alexander got injured.

Resiliency has led Ayden Eberhardt to where he's at. The 27-year-old American receiver is enjoying a solid season with the B.C. Lions with 21 catches for 366 yards (17.4-yard average) and two touchdowns.

TORONTO — The Toronto Argonauts have signed veteran Canadian offensive lineman Ryan Sceviour, the CFL club announced Tuesday. The six-foot-four, 320-pound Sceviour played eight games with the Saskatchewan Roughriders last season.

TORONTO — Winnipeg defensive lineman Willie Jefferson, Saskatchewan quarterback Trevor Harris and the Roughriders’ offensive line earned top marks on the CFL's Week 9 honour roll. Jefferson earned a grade of 99.

HAMILTON — The East Division-leading Hamilton Tiger‑Cats have added some bite to their rushing game by adding American running back Kevin Brown.
