EDMONTON — Steven Dunbar Jr. is back with the Edmonton Elks. The veteran American receiver signed with Edmonton on Thursday as a free agent.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The NCAA Committee on Women’s Athletics has recommended that Divisions I, II and III sponsor legislation to add flag football to the NCAA Emerging Sports for Women program.

The Edmonton Elks made a huge splash on the second day of CFL free agency.

Micah Awe is back where it all began. The veteran linebacker signed a two-year deal with B.C. on Tuesday, the first day of CFL free agency.

HAMILTON — The Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed American defensive back Jonathan Moxey to a contract extension Monday. Moxey was slated to become a free agent Tuesday. The 29-year-old appeared in 14 regular-season games last year, his first with Hamilton.

Shawn Burke is ready for CFL free agency to begin with much of the heavy lifting having already been done. The free-agent period officially begins Tuesday at 12:01 p.m.

WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed quarterback Chris Streveler to a one-year contract, the CFL club announced Saturday. Streveler appeared in 13 games last season before sustaining a knee injury in a 26-21 win over Saskatchewan on Sept.

TORONTO — The CFL has slapped American defensive lineman Shawn Lemon with an additional two-game suspension for violating its drug policy. Lemon is currently serving an indefinite suspension for betting on CFL games, including one in which he played.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed American receiver/returner Mario Alford to a contract extension, the CFL team announced Wednesday. Alford was fourth in the league with 2,071 all-purpose yards in 2004, his third season with the Roughriders.

Adarius Pickett has started taking significant steps forward in his preparation for the 2025 CFL season. The veteran linebacker started sprinting this week as part of his off-season workouts.
