MONTREAL — Danny Maciocia reached a pinnacle in the CFL by building a Grey Cup champion this year. But instead of resting on his laurels, the Montreal Alouettes general manager is hungry to build on that momentum.

WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed all-star guard Pat Neufeld to a one-year contract extension, the CFL club announced Monday. Neufeld was scheduled to become a free agent in February.

HAMILTON — The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have re-signed offensive linemen Brandon Kemp and Jakub Szott, the team announced Friday.

CALGARY — The Calgary Stampeders have re-signed veteran kicker René Paredes to a one-year contract, the team announced Friday. Paredes will be entering his 13th season with the Stampeders, who signed him as a free agent in 2011.

REGINA — The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed American defensive back Amari Henderson to a contract extension, the team announced Friday. The length of the extension was not disclosed. Henderson was eligible to become a free agent on Feb. 13.

TORONTO — The CFL will kick off its 2024 schedule with a Grey Cup rematch. The Grey Cup-champion Montreal Alouettes will open the campaign visiting the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on June 6, the CFL announced Thursday.

HAMILTON — The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have re-signed Canadian offensive lineman Brandon Revenberg to a two-year contract. The 30-year-old from Essex, Ont., was set to become a free agent in February.

MONTREAL — Canadian wide receiver Tyson Philpot, who caught the winning touchdown pass in this year's Grey Cup, has signed a one-year contract extension with the Montreal Alouettes.

MONTREAL — The Grey Cup-champion Montreal Alouettes signed American defensive back Dionté Ruffin and American offensive tackle Jamar McGloster to two-year contracts on Tuesday.

The CFL's Toronto Argonauts have re-signed American offensive lineman Isiah Cage. The six-foot-five, 313-pound lineman started 10 games at left tackle in a 2023 season affected by thigh and hamstring injuries.
