BRANTFORD, Ont. — Patrick Thomas scored in the third round of a shootout to lift the Brantford Bulldogs to a 4-3 victory over the winless Peterborough Petes in Ontario Hockey League action on Saturday at Brantford Civic Centre.

Ben Riche scored his second goal of the game at 1:37 of overtime as the Saskatoon Blades edged the Brandon Wheat Kings 4-3. Tyler Parr and Brandon Lisowsky also scored for Saskatoon. Evan Gardner made 34 saves for the Blades.

Andrew Gibson knocked in the game-winning goal at 17:20 of the second period as the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds edged the Ottawa 67's 3-2 Noel Nordh and Brady Martin also scored for Sault Ste.

Joshua Fleming earned a shutout as the Acadie-Bathurst Titans defeated the Cape Breton Eagles 2-0. David-Alexandre Coulombe scored the game-winning goal, while Colby Huggan added an empty-netter.

BARRIE, Ont. — Malcolm Spence scored the game-winning goal at 1:14 of the third period as the Erie Otters edged the Barrie Colts 2-1 in Ontario Hockey League play on Thursday night. Matthew Schaefer had the other goal for Erie.

BAIE-COMEAU, Que. — Gabriel D'Aigle stopped 28 shots for the shutout as Victoriaville downed Baie-Comeau 3-0 in Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League action Thursday night. Maël Lavigne, Samuel Vachon and Thomas Gagnon scored for Victoriaville.

SASKATOON, Sask. — Ben Riche scored a goal and added an assist to lead the Saskatoon Blades to a 5-1 win over the Seattle Thunderbirds in Western Hockey League play on Wednesday night.

SARNIA, Ont. — Carter Kostuch scored the shootout winner to give the Sarnia Sting a 2-1 win over the Flint Firebirds in Ontario Hockey League play on Wednesday. Alessandro Di Iorio scored in regulation for Sarnia and Matthew Wang tallied for Flint.

QUÉBEC — Justin Cote scored the game-winning goal early in the third period as the Quebec Remparts edged Charlottetown 4-3 in the lone game in the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League on Wednesday. Nathan Leek scored twice for the Islanders.
