At Christmastime Westlock-area students submit Letters to Santa, which we publish in the paper and online. Here's a sampling of what we received.

How are your elves? What is your favorite colours? I’m 8 years old. How old are you? Do you live in an igloo? What is your favourite cookies? I wish that all animals have a safe and a nice warm home and do you know what day is Christmas? I hope you two have a happy and great Christmas and more wish we need no more floods.

How are you doing? I’m good. How are the elves and how is Sweetie Star? I live in Westlock. I am 8 years old, and I’m in grade three. My Christmas Wish is I hope all animals have a safe and warm home because some animals don’t have shelter and they don’t have any food and water.

I have a special wish this year. I really want my grandpa to be OK because he got cancer this year and I barely even see him because he is always at work. My second wish is that my teachers have a good break. So please grant my wishes.
