Westlock-area Letters to Santa

A sampling from Westlock Elementary School
WES - Santa web art

At Christmastime Westlock-area students submit Letters to Santa, which we publish in the paper and online. Here's a sampling of what we received.

Westlock Elementary School - Grade 3A

Dear Santa,

Thank you for an early Christmas present! I have been gifted a beautiful group of grade 3 students and an amazing program assistant. We are learning new things and building friendships.  It’s hard work to be a student! These kids are reading and writing more than they ever had. Their perseverance and teamwork is indeed amazing.  Just so you know, this year, the kids especially enjoy singing.  I hope you, Mrs. Claus and the elves will have time to take a moment to listen their beautiful voices while they sing Christmas carols.  Merry Christmas!

From a very blessed teacher,

Mrs. Arndt

Dear Santa,

My name is Mrs. Jubinville and I work in the most amazing grade 3 classroom.  I love each of these students as if they were my own.  This year I don’t need anything, but would like to ask that you make this Christmas extra special for my students.  They deserve it.  Thank you for continuing to make children happy each year and bringing them Christmas spirit.

Yours truly,

Mrs. Jubinville

Dear Santa,

My name is Faith.  I am 8 years old.  I have helped my mom and dad when they have needed me.  I hope you stop at my house.  This year I would like to have: 2 Twisty Petz, a Twisty Girl, a Lego friends set, a mini car that I can drive, a pair of high heels, a Jasmine costume with wig, a Rainbow High doll, a Rainbow High color changing car, a sloth necklace, and sloth clip on earrings.  Santa, I am making a gift on Christmas night.  It will be on the couch.  Hope you liked our fudge last year.

From Faith

Dear Santa,

I have not been that good at home.  I hope you are good and the reindeers are healthy.  If you didn’t know, my brother and sister and me miss our Dad.  He died with cancer in his leg.  All I want for Christmas is to see my Dad again.  I think my brother and sister agree.  If you can’t I understand.  You are kind and the jolly man.  Merry Christmas to you.

From Malece

Dear Santa Claus,

My name is Xizaver. I haven’t been that good this year.  I’m sometimes naughty but I’m going to fix that.  I really want a diamond painting please.  I have a Playmobile set that’s missing three rocket ships.  May I please have a rocket ship every year?  I will make a sign for your landing.  I’ll shine a flashlight on the sign.

Sincerely Xizavier

Dear Santa,

I have been good this year.  Last year, I left some carrots out for the reindeer and when I woke up there were carrots on my roof!  I really want to meet you in person for Christmas.  The reason why I’m not asking for presents on this letter is because all the toys that I want are on my other list.

Love Tatum

Dear Santa,

I am 9 years old.  I hope you get everything I want.  I would like a yellow Lego robot that actually works like a robot, a Nintendo Switch, a Samauri Lego Mec and a bull Mec.  I love you Santa.

Love Owen

Dear Santa,

My name is Xavier. I am 8 years old. I hope that you have a great Christmas. I was wondering if I could get a goat simulator and a really nice family.  On Christmas Eve I will ask mom if I could make cookies. That’s it! That’s all I want for Christmas. Please have the best Christmas.  I’m going to ask my mom if I can make you a present.

From Xavier

Dear Santa,

My name is Elias and I am 8 years old.  I hope that you are all rested up from delivering presents last year.  My uncle died and I miss him.  Can I get for Christmas 3 things, a mechanical pencil, 3 pens and a journal that has 200 pages?  Thank you for all of the presents last year.  Please say hello to the reindeers.  I love to watch the Christmas movies that have them flying all around.

Love Elias

Dear Santa,

My name is Harper. I am 8 years old. You are a lovely person!  I’m so impressed with your hard work. My favourite reindeers are Dasher and Rudolph.  I wonder, do you get any gifts? What does Mrs. Claus do when you are gone? What do you do when your elves make the gifts?  I hope you two have the merriest Christmas.

Sincerely Harper

Dear Santa,

My name is Emma.  I have listened to my mom for quite a while.  All I want if a phone for Christmas but I don’t know if you have those so I’ll get roller skates and Nintendo Switch.  Enjoy the cookies on the kitchen table.

Love Emma

Dear Santa,

I really need new socks please.  They can be any kind but it would be nice if I had fuzzy socks or an astronaut action figure.  I also need new PJ’s, the normal kind but fuzzy  I have been trying to be super good.  I turned the coffee maker on for my mom and I help my dad clean the house.  Do you celebrate Christmas? Thanks for making my Christmas special.

From Reese

Dear Santa,

My name is Eva. I don’t have much to say but can I please have a new teddy and some candy? And, wait, can I have roller skates? I would love to make my baby brother to be happy.  Have a nice day Santa.

Dear Santa,

Hello Santa! I have been pretty good this year.  I helped my mom do dishes and I do most of my chores.  I would like some mini hockey sticks and a softball. Thank you!

Dear Santa,

My name is Kyla and I am 8 years old. I’ve been a very good girl this year. I have been trying to listen to my parents. If you can, I would like to have Twisty Petz, a pack of earrings, a necklace, OMG dolls, an OMG plane playset, a Barbie Fast Cast Clinic set, and a Barbie plane playset please?  Can you say hi to the reindeer for me Santa?  I watched the Christmas Chronicles.  They are both really good.  Thank you so much Santa! I loved the gifts I got last year. Have a great time with the reindeer Santa.

Love Kyla

Dear Santa,

My name is Amity. I am 8 years old and in grade 3. Safe travels when you deliver all the presents. I have been very good this year. I listen in class and listen to my mom and dad mostly. I also play with my sister sometimes. I hope you can make at least some of my Christmas wishes come true. These are my wishes: a tarantula and a bunny. Mom and dad say we already have a dog and dad and mom are at work so they cannot take care of it while I’m at school.  Say hello to Mrs. Claus and the reindeer. I will make sure cookies and milk will be laid out for you.

Sincerely Amity

Dear Santa,

I been good.  This Christmas I can’t wait anymore. I wish I can ride with you but I can’t.  Santa, can you please give me a Dolly set and also can you please give me a new dress? I helped my mom make cookies.  They are shaped as you and Christmas trees on my favourite plate with polka-dots.  Santa, my friends and I done a Christmas song in the school in music.

Love Nixie

Love Justine

Dear Santa,

My name is Emrey. I’m 8 years old. I hope that you are ready to deliver presents for kids around the world. I was very good this year. May I please have a stuffed bear, a soft, warm blanket, and fidget toys for Christmas?  Can you please tell Mrs. Claus that she is beautiful? And, tell the reindeer we will leave carrots for them.

Love Emrey

Dear Santa,

I am on my best behavior. I only get a little mad when I don’t get enough sleep.  Otherwise, I am really helpful.  I vacuum and sweep.  I hope you like the cookies and milk.  For Christmas, I want a Rainbow High doll, the one that’s named Jade, the color changing car and maybe a remote control car or Poop-a-lot.  I would really like the Pooh Bear Squishamellow or a map of the whole world. I hope you have a great Christmas and make sure you get some carrots for your reindeer.

From Gracie

What I want for Christmas: I would like a toy Indominous Rex and a calendar with a caramel filled chocolate bar.

From Forrest

Dear Santa,

Do you like hockey? Do you use Rudolph often?  The only thing I want are Beyblades.

Love Kolbe
