UPDATED: Vulnerable man missing from Wandering River

Cole Williams, 19, hasn't been heard from since July 9 and is considered a vulnerable person

UPDATE: Friday, July 10, 10:44 p.m. Athabasca County Fire Services has confirmed that Cole Williams was found alive and well.

WANDERING RIVER - RCMP are asking for the public's assistance is located a 19-year-old man from Wandering River they consider to be a vulnerable person.

An RCMP press release sent Friday, July 10, just after 9 p.m., stated Cole Williams was last heard from on July 9 at 11:30 p.m. while he was in the Wandering River area, approximately100 km northwest of Athabasca. Boyle RCMP believe that Williams is particularly vulnerable due to a cognitive delay and may appear confused or disoriented.

Williams is described as five-foot-11 and 110 pounds. He has near shoulder length brown hair, blue eyes and was last seen wearing a dark brown/black plaid coat, yellow/green pyjama pants and flat bottom skater-style shoes.

Boyle RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Williams..
