WESTLOCK - Town of Westlock firefighters responded to a car that caught on fire in the Westlock Inn parking lot Sept. 4 just before 2 p.m.

RCMP and the Westlock County peace officer were also on scene — the fire was quickly extinguished, and the adjacent vehicle didn’t suffer damages (only some spray from the fire extinguisher).

Westlock RCMP Detachment Staff Sgt. Al Baird said the cause was likely mechanical, and they don’t suspect foul play.
