Man faces multiple charges after stolen truck and trailer recovered

WESTLOCK – An area man faces multiple counts of possession of stolen property and mischief, plus a single break and enter charge following the recovery of a stolen truck and holiday trailer mid last month. 

Westlock RCMP report that during a patrol at 11 a.m., Oct. 17, they located a stolen Dodge Ram pickup truck and a holiday trailer at a rural property in Westlock County — during their investigation, two adults were located in the trailer and arrested for possession of stolen property.   

Once the investigation was complete a Westlock man, Samuel Lebeau, 26, was charged with break and enter contrary to Section 348(1)(b) of the Criminal Code, two counts of possession of stolen property contrary to Section 354(1)(a) and two counts of mischief contrary to Section 430(4). Lebeau was released following a bail hearing and is slated to appear in Westlock Provincial Court Nov. 24.
