CLYDE - One person is dead following a Sunday-morning trailer fire in the Village of Clyde.

On Dec. 8 at 9:55 a.m., RCMP responded to assist the Westlock County Fire Services following a fire that burned a residential trailer to the ground. The initial investigation determined that one adult man died as a result of the blaze.

While the investigation continues, an RCMP release states there are no indications it was a suspicious incident. Two adults were in the home at the time of the fire, and one was able to get out of the trailer safely, but despite efforts, was unable to get the other out.

Further information will not be made available by the RCMP, while additional updates will be in the Dec. 10 print edition of the Westlock News and at www.townandcountrytoday.com.
