ATHABASCA - Athabasca RCMP are asking the public to be on the lookout for a vehicle stolen from a local business early Wednesday morning.
On March 23 at approximately 4:30 a.m., RCMP say a lone suspect stole a silver Dodge 2500 with black trim (AB licence plate CJP 9956) from the Affordable Mechanical shop. The gate to the business was damaged during the theft and police believe the truck was used to ram the gate open.
RCMP caution residents not to approach the vehicle if they see it; instead they are urged to contact Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or your local police detachment to report details such as location, description of anyone seen in the vehicle, or the direction of travel.
