WESTLOCK – Town of Westlock snow removal crews will hit the streets yet again today, Thursday, Jan. 13.
With temperatures expected to remain in the single digits, crews will begin snow removal across town on: 100th A Avenue from 100th Street to 100th Avenue; the 100th A cul-de-sac; 98th A Avenue from 99th Street to 97th Street and; the 96th Street on the North side of TD Bank.
The town reminds residents to watch for snow removal signs posted in their area and to obey all no-parking signs — parking fines begin at $150 with additional towing costs.
Additionally, the town urges residents to avoid using sidewalks where possible due to the Jan. 11 rain that has frozen and created a layer of ice.
