The weather is heating up — albeit not as much as it did earlier this month — after a few days of rain in the Athabasca, Barrhead, and Westlock regions.
Tuesday will usher in the sun however, which will remain for the rest of the work week — no promises on the smoke situation, but Environment Canada is expecting little cloud cover.
A day-time high of 24 C will be a welcome reprieve from the 30 C-plus heat, which will cool off to 12 C at night. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will be much of the same, with expected highs of 23, 24, and 25 C respectively.
Saturday and Sunday will be hotter, with highs of 27 and 25, although a mix of sun and cloud is expected for any weekend warriors looking to get out into nature.
