The Barrhead Midget B Renegades got off to a quick start scoring two goals in the first three-and-a-half minutes in the game, including one on a two-on-zero breakaway, on their way to a 6-1 win against Onoway on Saturday, Nov. 5 at the Agrena.

It was a nail-biter of a game. The Barrhead Flyers faced off against the Stony Plain Predators in a Peewee exhibition matchup on Saturday, Oct. 29, and in spite of a last-ditch effort and several time-outs by the Predators, the Flyers won 5-4.

In hockey the shot clock or the even the final score are not always an accurate indication of how a game was played. The Steelers Midget ‘A’ home opener on Friday, Oct. 28 is a perfect example.
