Daisy Katherine Anderson
November 11, 1930 - September 2, 2022
Daisy Anderson formerly of Rich Valley, Alberta passed away with family by her side at the age of 91 on September 2, 2022 in Stony Plain, Alberta.
She was an amazingly strong and hardworking woman who loved being with her family. She will be dearly missed by her children Lenore (Rick) Guenette, Lori Willson, Trevor (Karen) Anderson; her beloved grandchildren: Desiree (Travis) Vreim, Carly (Chad) Gray, Bryce (Amy) Willson, Kali Willson (Marc Thoben), Brett (Jessica) Willson, Jenna Anderson (Chris Neilson), Derek Anderson (Carolina González); her great grandchildren: Ashlyn Vanderham, Brenna Vreim, Cole Gray, Caden Gray, Ellie Thoben, Anika Thoben, Oakley Willson, Jayden Willson and Bennett Willson; sister Gladys Wallis and brother Arnold (Gail) Carlson as well as many dear relatives and friends.
Daisy was predeceased by her husband Evert in 2016, her parents Endor and Gertrude Carlson, her brothers Ernest Borle, Eddie Borle, Arthur Carlson; her sisters Violet Nordlund, Lily Belke and son-in-law Rick Willson. Daisy will be fondly remembered for her love of family, camping, golfing, card and dice games and hot toddies. SKOL! Daisy, mom, grandma, great-grandma; we will miss you and your beautiful smile.
The family wishes to extend their thanks to the Westview Health Centre staff for their care and support in the last couple of weeks and to the staff at Copper Sky Continuing Care in Spruce Grove for taking good care of our momma. In lieu of tributes, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta https://alzheimer.ca/ab/en. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
