Mrs. Betty Lorraine Munroe of Barrhead, Alberta passed away on February 10, 2020, at the age of 70 years. She is survived by her loving family: husband John Munroe of 50 years, her children Teresa Giesbrecht, Susan Miller and husband Kevin Miller, Kevin Munroe and wife Amanda Munroe, along with 16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Richard Glasgow and wife Stella Glasgow of Erma and sister Vera Haverslew and husband Grant Haverslew of Vermillion as well as many other family members and friends. Betty is predeceased by her parents Jerald and Gretta Glasgow, sister Shirley Glasgow, brother Robert Glasgow, as well as her sons Lawrence Bowick and Marty Munroe. She was deeply loved by so many others and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A memorial service for Betty will be held Friday, February 21 at 1:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Chapel, 5326-48 street, Barrhead, Alberta, T7N 1A1.
