On May 5, 2025, Dad/Pépère passed away peacefully at the Citadel Care Centre in St. Albert at the age of 98.
Albert will be lovingly remembered by his children; son, Clem (Line), son, Mitch (Lavina), daughter, Jackie (Gil), and son, Guy (Ginger); grandchildren: Sarah, Curtis (Stacy), Darlene (Desmond), Valerie (Darcy), Chantel (André), Mark (Kirsten), Luc, and Colin (Sharla); great-grandchildren: Megan, Brooklyn, Kaitlin, Parker, Hayden, Zofia, Maverick, Amelia, Jackson, Hudson, Emersyn, and Nour; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Yvonne Blanchette (Bossé); parents, Gaudias and Antonine Blanchette; son, Fernand; daughters-in-law, Laura and Zeny; brothers, Leonard, Leon, Victor; and sisters, Lucie, Leonie, Jeanne and Celarine.
The family thanks all the staff at the Citadel Care Centre, Villa Caritas and River Ridge (Revera) for their caring commitment towards Dad’s comfort and quality of life.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, in St. Albert Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
