Denis Leo Boisvert
November 16, 1946 - April 16, 2020
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of long-time Athabasca area resident Denis Boisvert on April 16, 2020.
Born in Bonnyville on November 16, 1946, he was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Jeanne and brother Harvey.
Denis is survived by his son Richard (Jill), daughter Lisa (Ryan), and grandson Carter, as well as former wife Linda and siblings George, Louise, and Yvette.
Many will remember meeting Denis when he owned the Colinton Hotel, the Shoe Shoppe in Athabasca, and when he did carpentry jobs around the area. Denis enjoyed woodworking, antique cars, coaching minor hockey, and baseball, golfing and curling with friends, fishing, boating and waterskiing at Baptiste Lake, and spending time with family.
In lieu of a funeral, we ask that you remember him by enjoying one of his favourite activities.
