CLAPP, Claude William

September 16, 1939 - April 14, 2021

Claude Clapp passed away on April 14, 2021 at the age of 81 years. Claude was born and grew up on the farm near Manola. He went out to work in Swan Hills driving truck and fixing equipment here and there as a mechanic. Back in the day, he was an avid baseball player with the local senior teams. He lived on an acreage in Onoway County with his beloved pup Spot. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being outdoors. He was a kind man with a quick wit and crib was his game.

Claude is survived by his loving family; son Brian Clapp and daughter-in-law Sandy and grandsons Michael and Billy Clapp. He also leaves his brother Bob (Cheryl) Clapp, sisters Barb Courhene and Lillian Branden, sisters-in-law Marge Clapp and Corinne Clapp as well as numerous other families and many dear friends.

Claude was predeceased by his parents Ewart (Tapper) & Wanda Clapp, brothers Frank, John, George, Walter, sisters Jean Clapp and Viola Fox, and brothers-in-law Bill Fox, Charlie Fox and Ronald Branden.

A private Family service will be held in the near future.

If friends and relatives desire, donations may be made to charity of one’s choice, the Sturgeon Hospital or the Cross Cancer Clinic.
