Dale Gelderman
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, Dale Gelderman on October 25, 2023, at the age of 61.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 38 years, Kathy; his 4 sons, Jeff (Anna), Justin (Erin), Collin (Katya) and Corey; his 4 grandchildren whom he adored, Addison, Willow, Riley and Ezra.
Dale was born in Barrhead on July 12, 1962, and was raised in Neerlandia for most of his life, never straying far away and called Vega his home for the last 24 years. Being a plumber by trade, he crossed paths with many people. He loved his job and being able to solve problems was very satisfying for him. But probably his favorite thing was to stop and have coffee and to have a good chat.
Dale was brother to Pearl (Glenn) Vanderlugt, Randy (Debbie) Gelderman, and Kevin (Melody) Gelderman. He was also brother-in-law and uncle to many more family members, in-laws and nephews and nieces who loved and cared deeply for him.
Dale was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Betty Gelderman.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at 1:00 PM from Neerlandia Christian Reformed Church.
