HAMBERGER, Caroline

.::. Remember Me .::.

To the living I am gone.

To the sorrowful, I will never return.

To the angry I was cheated but, to the happy I am at peace and to the faithful, I have never left.

I cannot speak, but I can listen.

I cannot be seen but I can be heard.

So as you stand upon the shore gazing at a beautiful sea, remember me.

As you look in awe at a mighty forest and its grand majesty, remember me.

Remember me in your hearts, in your thoughts and the memories of the times we loved.

The times we cried, the battle I fought and the times we laughed.

For if you always think of me, I will have never gone.

Early morning on December 5th 2020 an Angel was granted her wings.

Caroline Ruth Hamberger (79) passed away in her home in Dapp Alberta surrounded by those who loved her dearly. Caroline was born on June 23rd 1941 in Tomahawk AB to Rudolph and Elsie Zander. She was the oldest of their three daughters “Dorthy Duckett (Spruce Grove AB) and Brenda Zander (Osoyoos BC). Caroline grew up and lived with her family in Tomahawk AB and only later moved to Westlock AB where she raised her three children that she loved dearly Laurie Cardwell (Osoyoos BC), Brian McKallister (Jarvie AB) and Lorna Hamberger (Vancouver BC). Caroline didn’t have fancy degrees, she wasn’t rich or famous, but to know Caroline was to be loved by her. She had the biggest heart of anyone that I’ve ever known. She didn’t have much but she would happily give everything she had if she thought it might help you in some way and when she loved, she loved deeply and true, It didn’t matter who you were, or where you came from, she would welcome you with open arms. If you were hungry she would feed you, if you were tired she would give you a place to rest and if you were just needing an ear. She would listen. The morning she passed, the world lost a truly amazing woman who will be missed greatly by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her, but Heaven gained a one of a kind Angel who was at last given her wings.

Caroline is survived by her Sisters: Dorthy Duckett (Spruce Grove AB) and Brenda Zander (Osoyoos BC).

Her Children: Laurie Cardwell (Osoyoos BC), Brian McKallister (Jarvie AB) and Lorna Hamberger (Vancouver BC). Grandchildren: Alicia McKallister (Dapp AB), Cheyenne Petryshen (Edmonton AB), Kevin Petryshen (Edmonton AB), Kristopher Ross (Dapp AB) and Josh Chizawsky (Edmonton AB), Matthew Hoge (Stony Plain AB) and Mark Hoge (Vancouver BC); Great Grandchildren: Ayla Petryshen, Hunter Petryshen, Scarlytt Chizawsky/Krebs and Damian Chizawsky/Krebs. And her two Companions Isabella and Lily Beans.
