HESTERMANN, MATHILDA (TILLIE)
June 15, 1934 - May 23, 2020
Hebrews 11:1 - Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
With sadness, we announce the passing of Mathilda (Tillie) Hestermann, a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She leaves to remember her fondly, her son, John (Cheryl); daughter, Haitina Twinn (Roland/Guy) and son Andrew. Tillie also leaves behind 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren as well as family and numerous friends she was so fond of.
Tillie was predeceased by her loving husband, Karl as well as her dear friend, Allan Sonnema.
Tillie will be remembered by all for her love of knitting. Her entire family, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren can look down at their feet anytime for a reminder of Tillie. Her love of knitting socks for us all, bright and uniquely patterned, will always be a reminder of her.
Due to COVID 19, there will be a private direct family funeral only.
