Mrs. Hilda Annie Fischer (nee Berndt), late of Barrhead, AB passed away on February 8, 2020, at the age of 89 years. She is survived by her loving family; children; Walter (Joan) of Alberta Beach, Otto (Cheryl) of Edson, Fred of Peers, Martha of Parksville, BC., Harold (Ruth) of Alberta Beach, Elsie (Randy) of Erskine and Rita (Robert) of Edmonton; her sister, Mary of Alberta Beach; 11 grandchildren; Warren, Elizabeth, Greg, Carlie, Amanda, Angela, Loretta, Glen, Bradley, Adam, and Tyler; 12 great-grandchildren; Olivia, Hunter, Mason, Dustin, Courteney, Cassidy, Sarah, Luke, Darrius, Laira, Max, and Dawson as well as numerous family and dear friends. Hilda is predeceased by her husband, Ernest of 50 years (2004), granddaughter, Crystal (2013), sister, Dora (2020); parents, Samuel (1976) and Ida (1978). A Funeral Service was held on Thursday, February 13, 2020, at 1 p.m. with Vicar, Erik Osness officiating. Interment followed in the St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church or charity of choice.
