The family of Eric Jantz is sad to announce that Eric passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024, at the age of 94 years.
Eric is survived by his daughter Louise (Martin) Sharren of St. Albert; son Norman (Renuka) Jantz of Edmonton; daughter Crystal (Wayne) Lipsett of Edmonton; and grandchildren Kandice, Kassandra, Allison, Mitchell, Bethany, Andrew, and Hannah. Eric was predeceased by his wife Bernice; brother Helmut and parents Wilhelm and Sofie.
Eric and Bernice raised their family in the Rochester/Tawatinaw area on the farm that Eric’s family homesteaded. Eric loved his children and worked hard to ensure they received a good education and start in life. His family could always count on him to be available for support and guidance. He will be dearly missed.
The funeral will be held at The Westlock Alliance Church on Thursday, March 28 at 1PM followed by a lunch.
