JEANVEAU, KIMBERLEY ANNE

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kimberley (Kim) on Sunday, August 30, 2020, nine years to the hour of her mother, Sarah’s passing. Kim and twin sister Krista were born on March 25, 1961, in Sudbury Ontario.

Kim leaves to mourn, her daughter Annick; her father Roger (Samantha) Jeanveau of Stony Plain, sisters; Joanne (Roland) Thompson of Whitecourt, Krista (Walter) Emsley of Edmonton, Cindy (Dale) Hawthorne of Grande Prairie, and brother Craig (Darlene) Jeanveau of Fox Creek as well as nephews and nieces; Tom, Eric, Doug, Lisa, Jodi, Dana, Jenna, Scott, Lucas, and Marcus.

She is predeceased by her mother, Sarah Jeanveau.

Kim fought many uphill battles in her lifetime, but the second bout of Cancer was more than she could overcome. Her inner spirit and determination, throughout her lifetime, was inspiring to many. Thank you to Marilyn, Leah, and Staff at Renaissance Tower for the support they gave Kim, to Dr. Tracey-Lee Flanders for her
care of Kim, to the caring staff at Grey Nuns Hospital, and to many others who enabled Kim’s journey to independent living.

To fulfill Kim’s wishes of a “party”, her Interment and Celebration of her life will be held next spring. In lieu of flowers, please make a tribute donation in Kimberley’s name, to one of the following: Wellspring Family Resources and Crisis Centre of Whitecourt (interland3.donorperfect.net) or Barrhead Food Bank (by mail to: 5115 45 St. Barrhead, AB T7N 1A5)

In the words of Kim,

“Keep it Real”
