RODNEY “ARDELLE” LANE
Rodney “Ardelle” Lane, born June 10, 1938, passed away on September 12, 2021, after a long, courageous battle with cancer at the age of 83. Dad was predeceased by Mom, Lorrie, his parents Robert and Lillian Lane and siblings Marlene, Dennis and Karen. He is survived by his loving children Shelley and Rick Priebe, Robin and Cindy Lane, Patti and Kirk Graham, and adoring grandchildren Phannary, Davmaney, Bunya, Jaenjira, Alyssa and Zachary. He is also survived by his caring sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Bea and Keith Walker, Marlaine and Ron Sirois, Zinnia Lane and multiple adoring nieces and nephews. Dad had many longtime friends in Westlock, Calgary and Cranbrook.
Dad’s stories, sense of humor and love for his family will be greatly missed but we are thankful that he is resting in peace.
Words cannot express our family’s immense appreciation for the love, kindness and support given to Dad and all of us by Dr. Morne Odendaal and all staff during his last days at Red Deer Hospice Society.
