Emma Larison

1922 - 2021

Sadly on October 6th, Emma Larison (nee Careless) passed away at the age of 99 years after a valiant battle with COVID. She was predeceased by her husband Ralph in 1983. The daughter of settlers William and Emma Careless of Sion, Alberta, Emma was predeceased by her brothers: William, Thomas, Richard, Arthur, George, sisters: Edith, Kate, Bess, Sarah, and companions John Stoby and Peter Bentley. Emma leaves to mourn her loss her six children Melvin (Anne), Elaine Taschuk (Dan), Arthur (Leona), Raymond (Joanne), Lyle (Wendy) and Lois Saumer (Robin), 16 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Her loss will also be mourned by many, many relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff of Chateau Lac Ste Anne, Onoway and the Good Samaritan Centre, Spruce Grove for their exceptional care of our Mother.
