Larry Lindstrom

With great sadness the family of Larry Lindstrom announce his sudden passing on September 7, 2022 at the age of 75. Larry was born in Lethbridge, Alberta, December 3, 1946, the 9th of 10 children to Jennie and John Lindstrom. He leaves to mourn his wife of 26 years; Noreen, children; Tammara (Kevin) Miller, Scott (Jenn) Lindstrom and Kimberly Lysak, step-children; Paul (Shannon) Braucht, Jade Braucht, Lonny (Laura) Braucht and Cody (Lindsey) Braucht, 19 grandchildren, and brothers; Dwayne, Marvin, Norman and sister Marion.

Larry loved to build! Eight houses for his own family and many renovations for himself and friends. He drove heavy equipment, gravel and logging trucks and he was a painter just to name a few. He spent 34 years with Champion Feeds, spending many springs selling fertilizer at Fort Assiniboine and at the end travelling to different locations to do the carpentry work they needed done.

The last few years he loved spending outside with the grandkids, tinkering in his shop on a thousand projects, working on many projects outside or just visiting with friends and family drinking coffee. Words can not express how much he will be missed.

Donations can be made to the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Mazankowsky Alberta Heart Institution or a charity of one’s choice.

Service will be held on September 21, 2022 at 2:00 pm at St. John’s Lutheran Church with lunch after. Private Interment will be family only.
