Gary Julius Mantay
May 31, 1947 – October 23, 2023
Gary Julius Mantay passed away peacefully with his family by his side on October 23, 2023, at the age of 76.
Gary is survived by his loving family, wife of 56 years Elaine; children, Travis (Bonnie), Rhonda (Wayne), Jennifer (Travis); grandchildren, Tyson, Ethan and Mira; great granddaughter, Tava; sister, Evelyn Teske; numerous nieces and nephews and his special little dog Brandi.
Gary is predeceased by his son, Jason; brother, Arnold; parents, Julius and Hilda; and other family members.
The family thanks the staff at Barrhead Hospital for their compassionate care of Gary.
There will not be a funeral service as per Gary’s request. A private memorial will take place at a later date.
Memorial Donations in Gary’s name may be made to Barrhead Animal Rescue Society or charity of one’s choice.
